Only a week in, students are creating, learning, and making friends. I have taken a few opportunities to step back and observe the children interacting with each other and it has been fantastic. I look forward to what the year has to bring.
While doing outdoor learning, Keely found a sign of what I hope to be a sign of things to come ... a four-leaf clover!
This year, as part of the Full-Day Kindergarten program, we will be spending a portion of each day outside for outdoor learning. It is important that students are dressed for all types of weather. While the weather is nice, I would recommend a hat, and if your child is able to apply it independently, sunscreen. Rubber boots and a raincoat are also essentials for mucky adventures. We will be going outside in all types of weather.
