The I LOVE Reading Challenge is officially over .. what a great month it has been! I loved being able to see the students' excitement each morning when they got to school and were able to share which challenge(s!) they did the previous night. It made me so happy to see students that who weren't previously interested in reading so excited about their accomplishments.
One of my favourite parts of the challenge was receiving the email challenge photos. Below is a slide show of some of the great the photos from the past month.
The girls and boys in Room 106 know I love reading as well and I apologize for introducing your children to habits like reading while brushing your teeth, reading in the bath, and reading by flashlight (when you're supposed to be sleeping) .. but with any luck, these habits will stick and they will be readers for life :)
