Using screws and screwdrivers, they have been learning "lefty loosy" and "righty tighty" while they make a variety of projects. So far, we have had ramps, houses, and a windmill. The students make sure to measure the length of their wood pieces, using the tape measure.
The screws and screwdrivers provide a perfect opportunity to work on fine motor skills, as well as eye hand coordination.
