For the month of May, both A and B Day classes will be participating in the David Suzuki 30x30 Challenge. This means we will be spending 30 minutes each day outside, enjoying nature.
Along with spending 30 minutes outside daily, classes will be sharing their experiences in nature expressed as a poster. They will illustrate their favourite things to do in nature or something special that happened outside during the 30×30 Nature Challenge.
I will submit our posters to The David Suzuki Foundation, along with a short description of how we spent time in nature. At the end of the Challenge, they will choose three winning classrooms from across Canada. Winners will be featured on the David Suzuki Foundation’s website and social media.
Check out the website, maybe you can take part in the 30x30 Challenge with your family. How many families in Alona will take part?!
