With two snow days and two (or three?) extreme cold days, we have had an eventful start to the New Year! We've been as busy as usual .. we're back to where we were before the break; we're exploring, learning and having fun.
As much as the adults in their lives might not like it, the students in Room 106 are so happy that winter is finally here. Students have been making the most out of the snow so far. They have spent time "mountain climbing" and sliding, with and without Crazy Carpets.
On days that weather permits (the temperature warmer than -25) we will be continuing with Outdoor Learning so I have been happy to see everyone dressed in lots of warm layers, with hats, mitts, and scarves. As much as we've been outside, there hasn't been one complaint about the cold (from the students). When you're running, building, and sliding, there is no time to get cold!
