Starting on May 1st, the students in Room 106 joined thousands of others across Canada by joining David Suzuki's 30x30 Nature Challenge.
Each day in the month of May, we will spend 30 minutes outside, regardless of the weather. As it is, we try to get outside each day for Outdoor Learning, but some days weather and other plans get in our way. This month, we will make it a priority.
Students in our class love Outdoor Learning, and are disappointed when we can't make it outside. Surprisingly, we are one of the few classes in the entire school that get outside for more than just recess. We are going to use the 30x30 Nature Challenge to let other students, in all grades, hear how great Outdoor Learning can be. We don't just play, we learn as well!
